How It All Started
The Pioneer Memorial Home was established in 1927 to provide affordable, alternative, and independent living for elderly members of Orange City and the surrounding communities. The retirement community celebrates the Christian faith and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The Pioneer Memorial Home presents residents with a pleasant lifestyle through the all-inclusive provision of housing, family-style meals, laundry service, and light housekeeping.
Our Mission
Pioneer Memorial Home serves in a manner designed to satisfy the needs of the elderly persons as to housing, nourishment, reasonable care, and a pleasant lifestyle. This will be done at a minimal cost to the residents based on currently existing expense of operation. Neither race, color, nor creed shall be a factor in the eligibility to enjoy the facilities. It shall always maintain a Christian atmosphere by the management of the facilities, that is upholding the teachings of Jesus Christ thru word of God, the Bible.
